Ohalo is a leading institution that specializes in teachers' and kindergarten teachers' training for B.Ed. in various disciplines, including Biology, Mathematics, English, Special Education, Jewish Studies, and Physical Education, as well as a M.Ed. in Organizational Management of Education systems. The College currently has 2,000 students, of which 60% are studying in the Education and Teaching professions and the remaining students are in continuing education programs, advanced studies, professional development and external studies. The student population at Ohalo is heterogeneous and comes mainly from the peripheral areas of the country, including both religious and secular Jews, Bedouin, Druze, Christians, Muslims and new immigrants.
